New London Ledge Lighthouse

Saves: 21
Check-ins: 1
Surrounded by water in the New London Harbor, this elegant lighthouse is unique for its French and Colonial architecture. Although it looks adrift in the middle of the ocean, it has been standing 1909 and still operates to this day. It goes without saying - the only way to get to this lighthouse is by boat but tours only operate in July, August, and September. You might get to meet the ghost of Ernie, the first lighthouse keeper, who supposedly committed suicide after his wife ran off with a captain.
