Pleasure Beach is a thin peninsula accessible only by water taxi. While it sounds like the ideal place to spend a vacation, it has had many rough starts before its opening in 2014. It doesn't have any overnight accommodations but there's a pavilion for relaxing, a concession stand, and plenty of birdwatching.
