Stonington's Old Lighthouse Museum

Lighthouses are the subject of romance - beautiful, tall columns set against the backdrop of a stormy sea where ships are trying to make their way to land. The Stonington is perhaps the most romantic, standing amidst seaside homes in a coastal village with its all-glass observation deck. This lighthouse isn't too strenuous to ascend - only 29 steps and a short ladder will get you to the top.
