The Brandywine Zoo is a small park, at 13 acres and approximately 150 animals. Nonetheless, it gets about 90,000 visitors annually. If you have kids, the best time to go is on weekends between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. when the zookeepers feed the animals and answer questions from the visitors.
