Built in 1665, the Ryves Holt House is said to be the oldest surviving house in Delaware. It was built by Dutch settlers and has survived the test of time - which includes the American Revolution and centuries of bad weather. The charming red building trimmed in yellow is now a museum and gift shop.

The building has been painted grey. It’s a great neighborhood to walk around. There are many historical homes and churches.
