Opposite the historic Old State House, the Legislative Hall was completed in 1933 and is the governing location of the Delaware General Assembly. The hall is in the Capital Square in the elegant downtown Dover historical district. One of the noteworthy sights here is the Hall of Governors which includes portraits of every state governor the first state in the union has elected. The building is opened for self-guided tours Monday through Friday.
