Alhambra Water Tower

A lighthouse without a sea to watch stands tall in the middle of a quiet, residential neighborhood. It was designed by Denman Fink and built in 1924. Denman Fink had a good eye for Moorish aesthetics; the water tower was supposed to be both functional and beautiful.
