Update: After Hurricane Ian in 2022, only the top of one of the Cape Romano domes is barely visible as they sink beneath the water.
These Dome Homes south of Marco Island, Florida were constructed in 1980 by retired businessman, Bob Lee.Unfortunately, they were abandoned in 1992, then sold in 2005. Today, these homes are slowly being claimed by the sea where a watery grave awaits.
