Daytona 500 Experience

Formerly known as Daytona USA, the Daytona 500 Experience, an interactive motorsports attraction and museum, was located at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The museum was linked to the Daytona 500 with exhibits focused on NASCAR but also included exhibits related to the Daytona 200 motorcycle race, the 24 Hours of Daytona, as well as the Daytona Beach & Road Course. On November 6, 2010, because of low attendance and high costs, it was announced that the attraction would be closed to the public and only be available for private functions. After being closed for four years, it was announced that the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America would relocate to the site in 2017. It has been reported that recently the museum focused more on international themes rather than interactive NASCAR themes (a move that upsets many NASCAR fans).
