Description:
Edward B. Knight Pier, also known as the Key West Pier or the White Street Pier, is a popular landmark located in Key West, FL. The pier stretches out into the Atlantic Ocean, providing a scenic vantage point for visitors to take in the breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and the surrounding islands. Originally built in the 1960s as a commercial fishing pier, the Edward B. Knight Pier was eventually repurposed as a recreational attraction in the 1980s. The pier was renamed after Edward B. Knight, a former Monroe County commissioner who was instrumental in the pier's renovation and beautification efforts.
