Florida Caverns State Park

Florida is often known for abundant glades, marshlands, and flat, white beaches. Thus these caverns are a nice little surprise in an often warm and muggy state. Located near the tri-state border of AL, GA, and FL, these caverns offer a cool respite to the southern warmth. The park is open 365 days a year and the caves are only closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving. For only $5 a vehicle ($4 for single-occupancy) this is a great way to stretch your legs on a long road trip with the kids.
