The History of Diving Museum is a non-profit organization located in Islamorada, FL that's dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of the history of diving. The museum was founded in 2005 by Dr. Joe Bauer who was a retired Navy captain and diving pioneer. Dr. Bauer had a passion for diving and had been collecting diving equipment and artifacts for over 50 years.
