Description:
Four writers from anywhere in the world are invited to participate in The Kerouac Project which provides residencies for approximately three months for writers in the cottage where Jack Kerouac wrote his novel "Dharma Bums." All utilities and a food stipend of $1,000 are included. In return, the writers are required to work on their projects and participate in two events while they are resident. Those two projects are: a Welcome Potluck dinne and a Final Reading of their works at the Kerouac House at the end of their residency. The Kerouac Project also offers opportunities for them participate in other readings or lead workshops if they desire to do so with the Central Florida literary community. Not a bad deal overall!
