Jokester 2 by Paula Crown

A giant, red Solo cup crushed and deposited on a bed of sand is a very loud and clear statement about the throw-away society we live in. Designated 2 because the first one is displayed in Aspen, Colorado, the 10-foot-long sculpture was created from fiberglass and urethane foam, welded on stainless teel armature and painted with epoxy resin. We can only hope in keeping with the theme that the Solo sculpture was made from repurposed materials. (Submitted by Pam Moran)
