There's a lot to see and do at the Manatee Viewing Center. Check out the new rays touch tank that's open to the public. The environmental education building displays colorful displays that will immerse you in the world of the manatee and its habitat. Feel the blast from a hurricane at the center's hurricane simulator and discover more about hurricanes and how Tampa Electric prepares and responds to major storms. Stroll among the butterfly gardens outside and make your way to the center's tidal walk where you can catch a glimpse of animals that make the center's habitat their home. Then observe more wildlife at the boardwalk from the observation tower. At the base of the tower, you can relax and enjoy a picnic lunch.
