Old Pier Pilings at Naples

The ruins of a pier somehow add to the serene beauty of this part of the beach. Framed by blue waters and white sands, the pilings rise up out of the foamy waves. Often, sea birds will flit about or rest upon the pilings while in search of food. During the day this is a favorite fishing spot but for stunning photos of a multi-hued skyline, delay your visit until sunset. (Submitted by James Fisher)
