This "UFO House" was built from a prefabricated home design in 1968 by Finnish architect, Matti Suuronen. And, man, how it weathered the storms with minimal damage! Hurricane Ivan. Hurricane Dennis. Even a tornado couldn't rip this spacecraft home apart! The house has a reason for being constructed like a flying saucer - so it lifts up and floats if the area is ever flooded out or hit by a bad rainstorm or hurricane.
