Dedicated to the work of Salvador Dalí, the Salvador Dalí Museum houses the largest collection of Dalí's works outside Europe. In the museum's collection are 96 oil paintings and over 100 watercolors and drawings, some 1,300 graphics, photographs, sculptures, and objets d'art, plus an extensive archival library. The collections that are of a permanent status are periodically rotated. The museum's goal is also to educate the public and promote understanding of works by Dalí and similar artists.
