Description:
This freshwater spring is one of the premier resorts for activities such as fishing and SCUBA diving. The basin of the spring slopes into a cave where freshwater eels live. To go diving sign up for classes to receive different types of certifications - even for rescue diving. While you can dive at the spring you'll need a special certification to bypass the gate that goes into the darkest depths of the cave - more than a dozen people have died in accidents there. General admission to the park starts at $8 per person although you'll pay much more if you want to go diving.
