Weeki Wachee Springs

The Weeki Wachee Springs State Park mermaids have delighted visitors since 1947. Visitors can still witness the mermaid magic, take a riverboat cruise, and canoe or kayak on the Weeki Wachee River. This 538-acre park features a 400-seat submerged theater for watching the live mermaid show which are offered daily in the Mermaid Theater. There's also more fun to be had at Buccaneer Bay which offers a fun-filled flume ride for thrill seekers of all ages. The park also offers white sandy beach areas. There are also animal shows and an educational look at domesticated birds and reptiles.
