Barbie Beach

For more than a decade naked Barbie and Ken dolls (and possibly a Skipper) have been basking in the Georgia sun. A parcel of sand-covered land measuring 6'x4' is the playground of a few dozen or so dolls. They're frozen in action, playing beach volleyball or riding in all terrain vehicles. Steve and Linda Quick set up their tiny Mattel-world when their rose bushes were nixed by the city government. Maybe as a subtle response, they bought a few dolls to decorate the bare patch and the rest is history. Barbie Beach is a somewhat famous local roadside destination; even "The Walking Dead" cast and crew has visited.
