The Corpsewood Manor

This was the site of a horrifically tragic murder. In 1982 Charles Scudder and his partner Joseph Odom, along with their dogs, were shot with a rifle by Avery Brock - who still is serving time in prison today. Ironically, the long-dead owners were the ones who gave the estate its fateful name. Naturally the grounds are rumored to be haunted. The ruins are on private property but the general public is permitted on the premises. If you do hear a bump or ghostly whispers it's probably the sounds of other explorers such as yourself.
