Description:
Between 1000 and 1500 AD this 54-acre parcel of land was home to a thriving population of Native Mississippians, numbering several thousand. It is evidence of a robust culture with a village, a plaza, and burial mounds. The facilities include a museum, gift shop, picnic tables, and riverside benches. Hours are from 9 to 5 every day except holidays; admission is $6 per adult.
