Description:

Located in Freedom Park in the state of Jimmy Carter's birth, this presidential library was designed by a local Atlanta architectural firm and inaugurated on October 1, 1986. It contains a replica of the oval office as it was when the 39th U.S. president was in office as well as an extensive exhibit detailing Carter's 2002 Nobel Peace Prize. General admission is $12 and hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 4:45 PM and Sundays from 12 to 4:45.
