Margaret Mitchell House

This charming red building with white trim is where Margaret Mitchell penned her iconic classic "Gone With the Wind." It wasn't always so charming, though. It was an apartment building when the Mitchells lived here where they occupied one of the units. Poor conditions led Margaret to ruefully call her unit "the dump."
