Located in a state park, the Watson Mill Bridge is the longest original-site covered bridge in Georgia. It's length measures 229 feet spanning the South Fork River. Even though the wooden structure is over 100 years old, it is firmly held together by a lattice structure. At one time Georgia possessed over 200 covered bridges but today only 20 exist in the state.
