Western & Atlantic Railroad Tunnel

This guided tour takes you through the Civil War-era stone tunnel, the Visitor Center, and Museum. A knowledgeable docent takes you through the railroad tunnel in a golf cart which makes this a relaxing side trip. The museum has some interesting artifacts from the time period such as the flouncy dresses women wore and plenty of Confederate memorabilia.
