Kamakahonu Historic Landmark

While Hawaii has so many historic and natural landmarks, this one is touted as perhaps the most important. It is the last residence of Kamehameha I where he spent his final days before dying in 1819. The huts and old buildings are replicas of the originals but they are true to form (if not size) and give visitors an impression of Kamehameha's life in the early 19th century.
