Description:

Kehena Beach is a stunning sight with its fine black sand, jagged wave-battered rocks, and majestic coconut palms. Also, spinner dolphins appear to love swimming here—so much so that some have dubbed it “Dolphin Beach.” Clothing here is optional and the locals take full advantage of this, so keep that in mind before visiting. Also, before you decide to test the water, a word of warning: surf at Kehenna can get very rough with high possibility of riptides, so unless you’re an Olympic swimmer, it’s best to stick to the shore. Make sure to bring good shoes, as the trek down to the beach requires some rock hopping.
