Description:

The southernmost point of both Hawaii and the United States is also one of the prettiest. A rocky beach lined with sun-drenched cliffs framing the cerulean waters was an ancient mooring place for canoers. Today, you can still see fishermen casting their lines from the tops of the cliffs as well as some very brave adventurers who like to dive from lofty heights. From this point all you can see out beyond the beach is an unbroken horizon of sky meeting ocean. To get there, take S. Point Rd. all the way to the beach where you'll see cars parked.
