Natural Steam Vents

Ancient lava tubes formed sultry caves can be spotted from afar by the wafts of mist rising up. It looks like smoke, but is merely steam coming from the vents of Mt. Kilauea. You can see this wondrous natural phenomenon quite easily by walking along path at the edge of the caldera. The parking lot is located on Crater Rim Drive just a few hundred feet from the vents.
