Description:

These petroglyphs, depict various graphic as well as cryptic imagery such as birds, people, canoes, and simple dots and lines. Some carvings suggest that they were made after the arrival of Europeans on the Island for their inclusion of English letters and horses within their designs. Please help preserve these ancient treasures by refraining from touching them. To satisfy curious visitors, at the beginning of the trail there are replica glyphs that you are free to touch and make image transfers from by laying a piece of paper over them and rubbing over the designs with the edge of a soft pencil or piece of graphite.
