Description:

Grove Farm is the perfect destination for those who love touring historical homes and are curious to learn more about Kauai’s chief agricultural industry—sugarcane farming. Take a tour of the lovingly-restored (and still very active) 100-acre 19th century sugarcane plantation estate, which consists of with the plantation’s main house, owner’s cottage, guest cottage, workers’ housing quarters, and old office. You’ll also see current workers busily tending to the household chores, farm animals, banana patches, grazing pastures, and gardens using the same fascinating techniques used during late 19th Century when Grove Farm was successfully operated and owned by engineer and astute businessmen, George Wilcox.
