See astounding collections of paintings, sculptures and crafts from local artists and artisans of Kauai and Nihau (eastern Kauai county). You can also learn about the past monarchs who once held rule over the Kingdom of Hawaii, the fateful arrival of Captain James Cook upon the shores of Kauai, and the volcanic activity that made the island what it is today. In fact, the museum itself is manufactured from lava rock. Guided tours are offered to the public by request.
