Description:
An almost 4-mile out-and-back trail takes you through stunningly beautiful coastal territory. It starts at the southeast corner of Shipwreck Beach Keonela Bay. As you walk further you'll see sand dunes, Kiawe trees, rocky inlets, tide pools, lava formations, and even petroglyphs. Perhaps you'll see an endangered monk seal as well. This is a natural habitat for Hawaiian plant and animal life, so take nothing and leave only footprints.
