Description:

One of the first 10 companies in Hawaii to go into the sugar business in 1858, the Haiku Sugar Mill, also known as Pua Le'a (meaning "blossoming passion" in Hawaiian), was closed In 1879 mainly because of the location. The National Register of Historic Places didn't include the Haiku Mill until 1986. By then only the mill walls remained. Over 100 years of history surround the mills. This now historic property located on Maui's north shore (off the road to Hana), has become Maui's most elegant wedding venue!
