Description:

A rectangular structure provides you a spectacular view of the wide expanse below. See Hawaii's amazing Haleakala Crater formed from volcanoes and glaciers pushing apart the mountains. This is also the native habitat for the 'ua'u seabird, a rare species that lays only one egg per year. There are other native species that make this rocky landscape their home; keep to the walking path to prevent disturbances.
