Kapalua Bay Beach

Though modest in size, Kapalua Bay Beach took the title of “America’s Best Beach” in 1991 for its natural beauty and family friendliness. In addition to the sandy beach, there are grass-covered areas with ample shade, perfect for picnicking. Also, the coral reef 20 located yards off shore is home to an abundance of many species of colorful fish, and the bay’s calm, crystal clear waters during the summer provide terrific visibility for snorkeling. Restroom and shower facilities are also conveniently located at the south end of the beach. Parking space is limited, so we suggest that you make an early start to ensure you get a spot.
