Leleiwi Overlook

This overlook is reached via a 1/4 mile walking path. From this point you'll see the natural history of the area frozen in time. Cinder cones, ancient lava, and a crater-like valley give the feeling that you're observing an alien landscape. Along the path up to the overlook, you'll see native plants and the remnants of a stone wall that guided cattle ranchers through the rough terrain in the 1800s. Bring a windbreaker and layer up; it can get quite chilly at this altitude.
