McGregor Point and Lighthouse

South on Highway 30, past Ma'alaea Harbor between mile markers 7 and 8, you'll notice McGregor Point Light on your left. This 100+ year-old (and newly repaired) lighthouse is not the typical New England type of lighthouse you would expect to see after your trek through the foliage and gravel access road leading to the site. This lighthouse is a green light mounted upon a large concrete platform. Turn your attention to the beautiful ocean and panoramic view and you may catch a glimpse of some playing whales and small boats sailing by as the sea glistens.
