Old Lahaina Fort Ruins

Saves: 19
Check-ins: 26
Once known as a whaling port, Lahaina is now a charming town that attracts tourists who want to shop, eat, or sightsee. The downtown area is picturesque flanked by water and docked boats. In its whaling days, the fort was where the less industrious, inebriated sailors were imprisoned if they didn't make it back to their ship in time. The eroded wall, which used to be the prison, is in the center of what is now Banyan Tree Park near one of the largest banyan trees in the world. (Submitted by Victoria Perez)
