Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum

Sugar is so deceptively simple but it has been the catalyst for change in so many countries. This museum documents how sugar was intrinsic to the growth of Maui. Sugar alone was the reason why an irrigation system was developed on the island. It also brought people from all over the world to the island. Because of this, a multi-ethnic community developed.
