Honolulu Museum of Art

The Honolulu Museum of Art may be relatively small, but it houses a truly world-class collection of pieces from around the world including work by masters like Hokusai, van Gogh, Courbet, Degas, Monet, Picasso, O’Keefe, Warhol, and many more. Aside from its celebrated collection of European and American paintings, the museum also features a huge collection of art from Asia (primarily Japan and China), Africa, the Americas, as well as decorative arts/textiles from around the globe. A café is available should you get the hankering for a snack, as well as a museum shop with unique gift items on offer. Guided tours are available throughout the day.
