This is a fairly young aquarium, open since 2011. But being young means being innovative. Aquarium of Boise is primarily focused on its interactive touch aquariums which allow observers to touch animals such as sharks, rays, and starfish. Tide pools and tanks with exotic fish such as puffers complete this marine experience in the Midwest.
