Description:

On White Squirrel Drive you'll find the home of albino squirrels. The colony was started in 1902 when albino squirrels were first brought here by William Stroup and George Ridgely. The squirrels are fiercely protected by Olney - even laws have been passed to aid in their survival. If you don't see a real albino squirrel during your visit you'll be sure to see the snowy mascot in various places around town.
