Description:

The lighthouse, with its charming keeper's Cream City brick cottage, has been aiding vessels on the Great Lakes since 1874. Now it is one of the last remaining lighthouses on the Great Lakes. If you want to see the inside of the lighthouse and the museum, call ahead to schedule. Otherwise, they are usually open during the high season for very limited hours on the weekends. If you don't get to see the interior, you'll at least have a children's playground and lovely beach to spend the day at.
