The Super Museum

Metropolis, IL has styled themselves as the "Hometown of Superman," and thus has a museum dedicated to the Man of Steel. Included in its extensive collection is virtually every Superman toy ever made, movie props, and promotional materials. Over 20,000 items are on display not including the gift shop where you can buy your own Superman costume or wig complete with the curl.
