Nestled in Lafayette, Indiana, the Columbian Park complex spans over 40 acres and has delighted visitors since its founding in 1893 in honor of Christopher Columbus’s 400th anniversary. The park brings together a vibrant blend of family-friendly amenities including the historic Columbian Park Zoo (one of Indiana’s oldest, dating back to 1908), the Tropicanoe Cove aquatic center, Loeb Stadium for summer baseball, the newly reimagined SIA inclusive playground, walking trails, picnic shelters, and a scenic lagoon.
