Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes

There's no place more fitting in Indiana for the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes than the University of Notre Dame. Even though it is one-seventh the size of the famed grotto in France, it is nonetheless spectacular. Framed by trees and an abundance of flowers, this grotto is a popular praying spot where people come to light candles. People have proposed marriage at this holy place. Even if you're not ready to propose marriage, come for the evening Rosary or see one of the Sunday Masses.
