Oakalla Covered Bridge

This red Burr arch bridge was built in 1898 by J. J. Daniels who built many of the bridges in the area. It is 152 feet long and crosses the Big Walnut Creek. To get there take Route 240 to S Jackson St. and make a right. Make a left on W Walnut St. and another left on S County Rd. 400 West. Drive about 1 mile and you'll see the turnoff to your left to reach the bridge. Nearby attractions include 3 Fat Labs Estate and Fern Cliff Nature Preserve.
